Co-founder of the pioneering indie folk band DAVID WAX MUSEUM, Slezak weaves some of life's most difficult moments -- traumatic childbirth, a best friend's suicide, and her own public struggle with bipolar disorder -- into an Americana masterpiece. Recorded in the studio of Nashville producer ANTHONY DA COSTA (Joy Williams, Yola, Sarah Jarosz) as well as Suz's home base of Charlottesville, VA, the album boldly showcases an artist coming into her own as a much-needed voice for compassionate engagement with the world and the self.
