Recorded and Produced By Lawrence Rothman and Yves Rothman at Nashville's iconic Sound Emporium, the album features contributions from Jason Isbell on "Poster Child", Amanda Shires on "LAX", and S.G. Goodman on "R. Blood". Tracked in 13 days with emphasis on first takes being the master take, the record has visceral and confessional intimacy. Lawrence wanted the listener to feel as if they are standing in the room with them  as they spew story's straight from the gut unedited.
